Allenville

Allenville is the only city in the entire Monster Rancher series of games and anime that is located in our world. Genki lives here with his parents, and while it is assumed that in the Japanese version, this is a large Japanese city like Tokyo, they try to make it sound small in the English dub by ending it's name with "-ville," despite the presence of bumper-to-bumper trffic, large crowds of pedestrians, and skycrapers all over the city. Its specific location is never revealed.
