A large Tyrannosaurus-like monster with a stony hide and high power and defense. Its name is later changed for Monster Rancher Battle Card, but its appearance stayed relatively the same.
Etymology[]
Its name is a reference to the Ankylosaurus, an armored dinosaur with a club tail.

- To obtain an Anki in Monster Rancher 1, use the CDs Electronic Light Orchestra - Best of (Disc 1) or Pink Floyd - Wish you Were Here, or the PS1 game Ogre Battle
- To obtain a Rock Dino Card in Monster Rancher Battle Card, battle Milie in the 5th basement of the Rihet Ruins after reaching Master rank and gaining access.
