An ancient, powerful breed of Tiger with a three-pronged mane and a large puff-ball tail. Its black and white stripes seem to indicate a Hopper sub-type. However, because it is exclusive to Monster Rancher 3 (a game that does not allow combining), this is impossible to determine. Instead, monsters are classified according to where they live. Anubi live in the desert region known as Takrama.
Strangely enough, Anubi are based on the same Egyptian god as the Abyss species, but they are not related.
Etymology[]
Anubis is the Egyptian jackal god of funerals. He was connected to the Underworld.
