Aurora Island may be tiny, but so much history is packed into this tiny area that it's no wonder that famous scientists and archaeologists like Cox make it their home base. Aurora is not only home to wonders like the Frant's Tree or Heaven's Canyon, but also has a beautiful northern coastline (which is one of the ranch locations offered in My Monster Rancher).
Aurora Island is where the entirety of Monster Rancher Battle Card takes place, and was obviously designed with locations from the anime series in mind. Aurora is the largest city on the island (which also includes the much smaller Ancra), dwarfing most of the other towns and villages. The island itself is very agricultural and known for its mineral wealth.
