Beatas are bear cub monsters that wear bandannas around their necks, exclusive to My Monster Rancher. Not much is currently known about it, but several other bear monsters have already appeared in the series that may have a connection with it, such as MewBear, BearRoller, and Teddy. There is also a large non-playable lord monster in Monster Rancher 3 that appears to be an early Beata. As one would expect, they have quite a few physical combination moves, but a lot of them also involve thunder and shock waves.
