The Castle of the Damned is a famous haunted castle, mentioned to be the home of Ardebaren in Monster Rancher 1. It is possible that this is the broken-down castle ruins that the Searchers stumble upon in the Nurse Wetlands in the anime series, when their taxi breaks down. The lower levels seem to be flooded because of all of the surrounding water.
