Conga Conga is the largest village on the Cape of Kurehaza, the southern end of the Western Continent. Most of the cape is covered in jungle, and the village lies right in the center, on the edge of a small lake. The people from the area are characterized by their dark skin and white hair, and the presence of giantism (many of the locals are very large). Their tribe's bloodline runs as far back as the Pendant and Tochika tribes, as Big Mama states that their tribes used to trade with one another in ancient times.
One of the customs of the Conga Conga people is that they wear masks in the presence of anyone but immediate family, so most people have never seen their faces. Gaufre (from the Orcoro Circus) is a prime example.
The villagers all worship the ancient monster Mao Mao, whom the surrounding jungle is named for. A large silver statue of the monster sits at the entrance to the village square. Half of the village is suspended on docks over the water, and the people live in round huts made out of some type of aquamarine clay.
