An odd breed of Tiger that has a strange mask that covers its entire head, and sometimes makes its facial expressions look grotesque. It can puff up this frill around its neck to seem very large and scary. Later, this monster was renamed and redesigned to look like the Raiga version of Tiger from Monster Farm Online, with the large bull-like horns and the rings in its fur. At this point, it became almost completely golden.
Etymology[]
Balon could be a mistranslation of Barong, a benevolent divine beast in Indonesian mythology that has white fur and is adorned with golden jewelry.
Dandelion is a yellow blossoming weed, a reference to this monster's color; the word "lion" is a nod to the fact that the species is called "tiger."
