This breed of Baku originally only appeared in the Japanese version of Monster Rancher 2, replaced by Shishi in the American version. It is now available in the Monster Rancher 2 DX re-release of the game.
Its resemblance to an old man may mean that it has a connection to the Magic species, or even the MahjongKoro.
