A type of Durahan that originally wore a Viking-like helmet with horns on either side, and thick blue and grey armor, accentuated by strips of tattered cloth. It wields a powerful blue battle axe instead of a sword. Later, it appeared as a non-playable enemy in Monster Farm Online and Lagoon and was redesigned to look much more like a regular Durahan while still retaining its blue and grey coloration. It is resistant to wind and thunder attacks in both games.
Because it is a water spirit, it is rumored to be related to Undine. However, because it only appears in Monster Rancher 3, and the Online games (games that do not allow combining), this is impossible to determine. Instead, monsters are classified according to where they are located. Drydons can be found in the ocean region known as Goat.
