An extremely evil breed of Naga that has a skull-like head, and strange bat-like wings that connect its arms to its sides. It also has a large frill that surrounds its neck like the high collar of a coat.
When it was originally conceived in Monster Rancher 3 as a ??? monster, it had dark green scales and large bones protruding from its back, but this design was later abandoned for one that looked more like Joker.
Etymology[]
The Echidna in Greek mythology was half-woman and half-snake, and was famous for mothering several powerful monsters.
Its Japanese name is Ekidona.
