My Name is Pixie is the twentieth episode of Season 1 of the Monster Rancher anime series. It aired in Japan on August 28, 1999.
Synopsis[]
Pixie returns, and helps Genki in a battle against a group of Scaled Jells. But she and Genki become separated from the others, and when Pixie gets injured, she finds she must rely on Genki to survive. At first, she is embarrassed and angry. But Genki's compassion begins to wear away at the barrier of hatred she has built around herself.

With their raft destroyed, the Searcher is forced to continue their journey through the jungle. However, a group of Scaled Jells sent by Gali attack Genki's group. Though the group seemingly has an upper hand at first, the Scaled Jells prove to be formidable foes with their regeneration power and techniques, eventually cornering the team. Fortunately, the Searcher is saved by the arrival of Pixie and Big Blue, though Pixie denies coming to help her former foes. Eventually, the Scaled Jells combine their power and overwhelm the group, chasing Genki and Pixie off the cliff and separating them from the others, with the rests race against time to regroup before the enemies get to the two of them.
Genki and Pixie survive the fall, but Pixie sprains ankle her ankle and is too damaged to fly. Although Pixie initially refuses Genki's help out of pride, she is forced to accept his help out of necessity and due to his forcefulness. After hiding from the enemies until nightfall, the two exchange information they gathered and come to conclusion that Moo is trying to find his original body that was buried somewhere within the mountains far in the north. Though Pixie warns Genki that Moo is far more powerful than them, Genki still believes that it's possible for them to fight Moo if everyone unites their power.
The day after, Genki is forced to take Pixie and leave their hideout in hope of finding the others despite her reluctance, with Pixie witnessing Genki's strength and determination along the way when he saves both of them after falling into a swamp. After resting at a waterfall to heal Pixie's injury and clean up, the two follows a smoke signal out of the jungle, believing it to be made by their teammates, but it's soon revealed to be a trap by the Scale Jells to bait them out. After mocking Pixie and cornering the twos in battle, the Scale Jells offers Pixie a chance at appealing at Moo for forgiving her betrayed, but Pixie adamantly refuse, having reaffirm her reason and belief to fight through Genki's actions, and unleashes her newfound "Big Bang" technique to obliterated the Scale Jells, overpowering their regeneration and destroying them.
Though Pixie has now opened her heart to Genki, she still chooses to continue her journey with Big Blue to find out how far Moo's goal has gone, but promises to fight alongside with him some day.
Meanwhile, Gali's anger has finally reached the limit, and he decides to go into battle against the Searchers by himself.

- There is a short scene when Genki and Pixie get out of the quicksand where Genki laughs when he sees Pixie's face because the mud stuck to her makes her look like she has a beard. This scene was cut for the English dub.
