Holly's Happy Birthday is the eleventh episode of Season 2 and the thirty-seventh overall episode of the Monster Rancher anime series. It aired in Japan on January 8, 2000.
Synopsis[]
In the midst of shock following the revelation of Moo being Holly's father, Suezo remembers that today is Holly's birthday, so all of Holly's friends get together to celebrate.

After Genki promises to Pixie and Big Blue that they'll meet again, Hare realizes that its Holly's birthday and figures out to lead her off to relax, in order to keep her from knowing about the party. Then Suezo helps Holly relax under a tree to give her a break from all the fighting; meanwhile Hare and the others divide chores to gather the things they will need for Holly's party later on. Mocchi tries fishing but things of course never go as planned, until Mocchi entangles in a battle over dinner. Meanwhile Tiger has similar problems just gathering patatoes, Golem tries scouting for peaches for the dessert and ends up helping the wildlife due to his great kindness. Genki tries looking for mangos for the refreshments and runs into something unexpected. After hunting, fishing, and a little battling, the searchers are ready to start cooking; of course the question of what Hare is up to for Holly's present from the team. Holly is sleeping under the very same tree while she dreams of life back in the village and how her father gave her the carrying bag shes been using during the journey. Holly realizes she was dreaming and the searchers come to fetch her so she can enjoy a huge feast thanks to everyone. Holly is surprised thanks to the singing, the laughter, and joy of being with friends in the hope that they will find Holly's father and free him; meanwhile the baddies have summoned General Durahan at the request of Moo.
