Full Recap[]
The Searchers are sitting under a tree, just outside Colart. Right in the middle of the group, a flat rock serves as a table for the badges they won from besting their opponents in six different tournaments: Mandy Cup, Rookie Cup, M-1 Grand Prix, Greatest 4, Winners Cup and World Monsters Cup. Hare denotes with joy that they got them all, and Holly adds that their goal, the Legend Cup, is right around the corner. Suezo mentions that they went through a lot to get this far, and Tiger is happy that they finally got here. Hare encourages the others to do their best, and Mocchi promises to do so, followed by Genki motivating everyone like he always does, prompting the whole group to raise their fists to the sky in agreement.
At General Durahan's home, MumMew yells at Gobi for not waking her up earlier, desperately wondering how she'll explain to the General why she's still in her pajamas, with messy hair and holding her pillow. She imagines a scenario where she apologizes profusely, saying she'll get her makeup done immediately, to which he'd reply saying that he can't be angry at her and her charming smile, though she'd act humble and say that her beauty is no excuse for being late, followed by him saying that that doesn't matter as long as she's by his side, making her blush. Gobi scratches his head as she laughs and says he'll be wrapped around her finger if everything plays out just like her daydream. Poison, who heard the whole thing, floats just above her, laughing loudly, saying not even Gobi would be fooled with her acting, obviously angering her. Poison then gives her advice on how to do it, imaginarily looking at Durahan with puppy eyes as she apologizes innocently. MumMew calls her an amateur and says she does it better, and the situation devolves into a competition on who could call General Durahan's name in the sweetest possible way. The two then yell at Gobi to decide who's the most attractive, pressuring him to pick one, which only fills him with stress, making him sweat and get a terrible headache. Durahan's doors finally open, getting everyone's attention. MumMew and Gobi rush to kneel before him, and Poison flies to join his side, both girls calling his name as they approach. Durahan scolds MumMew for being late, and she tries to act seductively while giving her report to minimize the punishment, but none of that gets to him, and he interrupts her, calling her an idiot and saying that he already has the Searchers surrounded. She immediately crouches in fear, apologizing profusely. Durahan reveals that he's sent a monster that he describes as a "terrifying, smart, unbeatable and cunning assassin", who will surely get the Disc Stone for him. Poison flatters him, not earning any scoldings, angering MumMew, right before the general laughs maleficently.
The Searchers continue their journey, walking through a forest, where Suezo complains about his hunger. Holly says that they ate their last portions of food the day before, so they'll starve until they get to the next town. Suezo hopes they can find something along the way, and Genki laughs at his wishful thinking. He stops in the spot, Suezo bumping on him, when he sees a small cut tree trunk serving as a table for a wooden dish with cooked meat and vegetables, a pot with a stew and a platter with mangoes. Everyone finds this strange, but Suezo doesn't think twice before launching himself straight at the food. Holly's warning does nothing to prevent him falling for one of the many traps stealthily set around the delicious bait Suezo fell for. The rest rush to see their friend, who's now in a deep hole in the ground. Even Golem admits that it was an obvious trap, and Genki can't believe that anyone could fall for it.
Suezo protests but he's interrupted by a nearby evil laugh. The Searchers quickly locate the source as a Mew, followed by Clay troops, all carrying strange objects in their hands, and displaying baddie crests on their chests. Mew boasts about being known for being sinister and smart, and that this was his ultimate trap, genuinely surprised that the others could notice it and didn't fall for it. One of the Jells, holding a comically large turnip, tells the others that they don't stand a chance. Another, holding maracas, wonders why they brought Mew along, to begin with. Another replies whispering that, since Mew was frozen for a while, his brain had probably not thawed fully, and the first two agree, as two others, holding fans and spatulas in the background, remain silent. Mew then tells the Searchers that he'll use force on them, leading the Jells to attack, but they are effortlessly stopped by a Lightning from Tiger, followed by a kick and cherry blossom blizzard from Genki and Mocchi, respectively.
When a group of Jells tried to assault Holly, Golem got in the way and used his Twister attack to deter them. One of the Jells was sent flying in the direction of an old woman who was just passing by, carrying a basket with vegetables on her back, and she didn't have enough time to dodge, getting hit by the monster. Golem is shocked to see this, and shortly afterwards, Mew calls for a retreat. The Searchers all run to aid the woman, asking if she's okay, but when Genki extends a hand to help her get up, she surprisingly slaps it away, telling him to be quiet. She looks at them and says that they messed up that precious forest, and angrily asks to be left alone. Her back suddenly cracks, making her bend over in pain.
Golem apologizes for the attack that indirectly hit her and Holly asks to let her take a look at her injury, hoping to help with the pain, but the woman says she just threw her back out again, and that she'll get better after resting for a while. She tells them to get out of that forest, but Golem catches her by surprise and extends his hands to lift her from the ground. He promises to take her to her home and fix her up, but she complains, telling him to let her go, calling him "big pile of rocks" and waving her fists in the air until a sudden crack on her back forces her to stop. Suezo insists, saying that they'll take her home and calling her "granny", which gets her attention and angers her, prompting her to say that her name is Rosetta. Golem remarks on her name being cute, embarrassing her. Suezo comments on her blushing, but she gets angry and takes a carrot from her basket to throw at him.
Accepting their help, Rosetta lets Golem carry her as Genki carries her basket with vegetables. He comments on the amount of them, and Hare speculates that there's 10 days worth of food in that basket. With her arms crossed and eyes closed, she mumbles that that's just enough for that night alone, and the others are surprised. Suezo tells her that overeating will kill her, but she explains that it's not for her, but for the customers at her restaurant. Golem, dreaming of having his own restaurant someday, immediately picks on that last word of hers. After getting there, Genki says that it's a nice place, and when they get inside, everyone looks around with curiosity and amazement. Rosetta leaves the chair she was sitting on and walks away into another room, and Genki worries about her, asking her not to move in her condition, receiving in turn a grumpy "mind your business" as an answer. Golem offers his help, but she refuses, and Holly explains that he loves cooking and wants to learn more about it. Rosetta scoffs and replies that she won't take help from someone who resorts to violence. Suezo gets angry, saying that she has no right to talk to them that way after they brought her back to her restaurant, but she tells him that she never asked for it. Tiger, recognizing her stubbornness, tells the others to forget her and move on, and he starts walking away. Suddenly, Rosetta calls everyone's attention when she offers them a pizza that she describes as leftovers from lunch. Suezo shows great appreciation for this, telling her that a simple "thanks" would've been enough, so she says that he doesn't have to eat it if he doesn't want to. Suezo comments that he's so hungry he'd eat even the grossest food, and uses his tongue to take the whole pizza into his mouth. Everyone stares at him as he chews and they get concerned when they notice his face freezing all of sudden. His expression changes quickly to reflect a heart in his eye, as he exclaims that it was delicious. In disbelief, Hare, Genki and Mocchi try some pizza as well, and all end up agreeing with Suezo, suffering the same effect, followed by Holly and Golem. Tiger scowls at their attitudes, asking if they don't have any pride before Mocchi hands him a slice to try it himself. He accepts it reluctantly, taking the whole thing into his mouth and chewing with closed eyes and furrowed brows, until he recognizes its good taste, his eyes opening comically wide as he immediately stops chewing. Genki asks him if it isn't good, and Tiger, instead of replying, runs at top speed out of there and towards a cliff, stopping only at the end of it, to scream into the sunset that it was delicious.
Golem gets down on his knees and asks Rosetta to teach him how to make such a tasty pizza, and she's creeped out at the apparent suddenness of his request. He insists, lowering his head, but she refuses, saying that he's being ridiculous and that it's almost time for the dinner rush, walking away from him. She's forced to stop when her back cracks, causing her massive pain again, and Golem gets worried, asking if she's okay. Rosetta doesn't reply and straightens her back, saying that her customers will arrive shortly so she has to get everything ready. Holly kindly tells her that she can't do all that in her condition, and that she could let Golem help. The woman turns around and calls her ridiculous as well, saying that she never lets anyone near her kitchen. Golem approaches her again, still crouching, asking to be allowed there, but she yells, still refusing.
Having convinced her, Golem is seen kneading the dough to make a pizza, with a dark apron on, a small smile on his face, as well as a drop of sweat on his cheek. Rosetta, sitting on a nearby chair, with crossed arms and her cook uniform, tells him that he should be proud of being let into her kitchen to cook. He agrees with a simple "Go(lem)" as he keeps working and she warns him that putting a lot of strength into it isn't everything, that he must knead evenly. Genki repeats the clients' orders for them to prepare: five pizzas and two spaghettis. Holly and Hare, who are also helping in the kitchen, receive this order, taking care of the last part. Genki looks back at the tables and gets worried, noting that people keep coming in. Golem struggles to get a pizza out of the big oven with a peel, and Rosetta hurries him, making him more nervous. He takes one with some vegetables on top of the cheese but it's burnt, and Rosetta scolds him, saying that they can't serve that to the customers and telling him to try again.
Golem spins a flattened piece of dough in his index finger as the restaurant's owner tells him to focus on the feeling in his fingers, but it falls off his hand and onto her head, causing her to yell at him and call him stupid. Genki and Suezo, watching this, worry about their friend, Suezo mentioning that he's being more of a nuisance than helpful. The clients are sitting impatiently, wondering where their pizzas are, and some even stand up to complain. Rosetta, fed up with everyone, yells at them, telling them that she gives up and that there will be no pizzas that day. A client asks in disbelief and she repeats the same thing, prompting them all to leave, hungry and annoyed, some speculating that her issue must be her back, again, and wondering if she'll be okay for the contest on the next day. Genki picks up on this and asks what that's about. One of the customers tells her that it's probably time for her to retire, but she shoos him away. The restaurant is left empty and Rosetta discloses that half her customers go there for her pizzas, so they'll leave if they can't have one. Golem takes all the blame and apologizes, but the old woman turns her face away from him. Genki asks her about the contest, and she explains that it's an annual event for all restauranteurs in town to compare their skills. Genki comments that it sounds fun and Holly reassures Rosetta that her pizza is absolutely delicious so she's sure to win. Rosetta smiles again, saying that she hasn't lost in years, all thanks to her special sauce. She bends slightly, rubbing her back, whispering that if her back got better in the morning, she'd be able to make the dough. Golem offers his help again, but she rejects it, saying that he can't even knead properly. Golem promises to learn by the next morning, and she finds it hard to believe, but he's convinced that he can do it.
As the rest of the Searchers sleep soundly in the dining room, Rosetta spends the night teaching Golem how to cook. She tells him to straighten his back and to put more strength into his hips, asking him if he's actually serious about being able to learn in such a short timespan. Then, he practises spinning the dough on his finger until she tells him to stop. He's visibly struggling to make it, but he's doing his best, and Rosetta silently acknowledges this by smiling behind his back. Later, she's stirring the pot with her sauce as Golem watches. The woman tells him to get a jar that's on a high shelf on the wall in front of them for her. He carefully grabs the wrapped jar and places it on the table; Rosetta unties the knot at the top and reveals to him that this is a secret essence that no other restaurant can duplicate. Golem watches attentively as Rosetta takes a spoonful of the orange liquid and pours it into the pot, mixing it with the sauce. She then lets Golem try a bit of the seasoned sauce, and he immediately feels the same delicious flavour that her pizza had. She confesses that the golden mushroom used for this secret essence is only found during spring in the nearby mountains and then closes the jar, telling him not to tell anyone about it, him agreeing. Just outside her window, three evil Black Jells watch and hear everything they just discused, and they laugh about discovering such an important thing. Mew, still leading them, yells incoherently to finish them all off, but the three rush to force him into the ground and cover his mouth so he stays quiet, and they decide to come up with a plan to use this secret info in their favour. Mew stands back up and says to leave the planning to him in a high volume again. The Jells desperately cover his mouth again and one of them gets an idea that requires Rosetta and Golem to fall asleep first.
Rosetta takes a well-cooked pizza out of the oven this time and Golem says that it looks delicious. She says that they must try it first, and after chewing it for a couple of seconds, their eyes open wide. Rosetta admits that "this will do", and Golem rejoices, throwing his arms up in the air, knowing that that's the best thing she could have said. She interrupts his celebration, telling him that it's too early for that and that the contest won't be so easy. He doesn't mind this piece of advice, and seems ready to face anything. The woman yawns, saying that they must rest now, but Golem insists on practising a bit more. She allows it, but reminds him to wake up on time for the event. Rosetta leaves, but first takes a few seconds to watch Golem as he continues kneading dough, and smiles silently with slight pride about her apprentice. The monster continues restlessly until fatigue beats him, making him yawn and give up, sitting on the floor to get some sleep.
In the morning, Rosetta tries for a while to get him to wake up. When he does, he greets her, and the first thing she does is ask if he knows where the jar is. He says that it was on the shelf, but when he turns to look at it, the jar is gone. Genki and Mocchi walk sleepily into the kitchen, asking what's up, and Golem tells them that someone took a jar from the shelf. Genki, not knowing anything about the mushrooms, asks which jar, and Golem only says that it's a very important one. When his back faces the others, a note is seen stuck on him and Mocchi's the first to ask him about it. Hare reads it aloud, letting everyone know that the baddies (who not only signed it but also added a sticker with their baddie crest insignia at the bottom) took their precious jar, and that to get it back they must go to the clearing in the forest with the Disc stone. Tiger curses at them and Genki wonders what they should do. Rosetta, standing nearby, says that she's running out of luck and the contest hasn't even started, getting everyone's attention. She tells them that she assumed that this would be her last year participating, as her body has been giving out on her lately. Golem reassures her, telling her not to quit, that he'll do his best and they'll win together. Rosetta tells him that they don't stand a chance without that jar, and Tiger says that they'll get it back. Genki agrees, wanting to leave immediately, but Hare ponders what the best course of action would be to do that without surrendering the Disc stone to them. Surprising everyone, Holly exclaims that she has an idea.
At Colart's plaza, the tournament's participants are all ready and the spokesman gives the initial speech for everyone attending, saying that on that day the town's chefs will compete to see who's the best. He turns to point at a large conical figure erected on the ground, explaining that when that pole's shadow hits the red mark nearby, the time limit will have been met. Rosetta turns to look at her partner only to find him trembling in place, and tells him not to freeze on her now. Suezo and Holly, the only ones left watching this, can only hope that Genki and the rest will make it in time.
Mew, surrounded by his Clays and holding Rosetta's jar laughs almost maniacally, saying that that's how all his plans go. Behind him, one of the Jells has to hold another back to prevent him from beating the short monster up for taking credit of his plan. Mew, blissfully unaware of this, notices the Searchers approaching them from afar. They stop at a certain distance from the baddies, and one of the Jells says that they'll make the exchange at the center. Genki, who's carrying Holly's satchel, is the one who'll go there.
Back in the city, the spokesman shoots a gun into the air to indicate the start of the tournament, much to the pleasure of the many Colart inhabitants who have come to watch. Rosetta starts cutting slices of what seems to be salami and Golem kneads the dough. The spokesman hypes up the public, wondering who's going to come up on top from this. Golem reaches for the rolling pin but Rosetta yells at him, saying that he must knead it more before shaping it.
Genki, now standing in front of Mew, tells him to give them the jar, but the baddie says that they will, in exchange for the Disc stone. They extend their hands, both with the object that the other wants, and they trade them simultaneously. Mew jumps around in joy, holding the Disc above his head, and turns around to tell the Jells that it was all thanks to this brain. An exasperated Jell tells him to stop and to go back to them and so he does.
Tiger jumps forward, fully intending to attack them to retrieve the disc, but the Jells tell them to check what they got first. Genki unties the knot to discover that the cloth wasn't covering Rosetta's jar, but a mango with a poorly drawn picture of Mew with a few pink hearts added. The Searchers look at this in a mix of anger, disgust and disappointment, and Hare comments that he had seen it coming. When Genki looks back up to ask where the real jar is, the baddies run at top speed away from them.
Golem spins the pizza's dough on a finger, with Rosetta's encouraging compliments on his work, telling him to give it a nice shape, until a sudden wave of pain on her back makes her bend over in response. Golem loses his focus on the pizza, worrying about her, and letting the dough spin uncontrollably, falling off his finger and on to the floor, making Holly and Suezo gasp. Rosetta scolds him, telling him that a respectful chef mustn't take his eyes off his cooking. He tries to explain what made him part his eyes from the cooking, and she acts nonchalant, saying that he must think he's pretty good, because, if he has time to worry about others, he should use it to improve his cooking skills. Golem agrees, with sadness in his face, and the two resume their cooking, though Rosetta still suffers from her backpain as she cuts a tomato in half.
Mew and the Black Jells run as fast as they can from the Searchers, but they follow them closely. When they get to a certain point in the forest, the baddies stop and one of the Jells tells them to look upwards. There, the Searchers see the real jar, hanging with a rope from a tree's branch. Mocchi runs excitedly towards it, jumping a long distance to reach it, but as he pulls to release the jar, Hare notices that the rope will get cut by a short scythe placed on the tree, activating a trap. When he warns Mocchi about it, it's already too late, and the trap gets all four of them caught inside a net, hanging from the same tree. Below them, the baddies watch and laugh at the Searchers, Hare comments that they're almost all out of time and all of them get concerned.
The sundial is getting dangerously close to the deadline and Holly comments with fear that the other teams have already started baking their pizzas; Suezo replies that Golem isn't even done with the dough. Rosetta examines Golem's work and approves it, saying that they should be finishing up the sauce. She takes out a small pot with black mushrooms floating on clear water, expressing that she hopes they can get the same flavour with them and Golem doesn't seem so okay with that. The woman says that there's no time to complain and that this pizza's flavour depends on this extract. As she tries to pour the liquid, Golem's massive hand stops her, and though she insists, he doesn't let her, saying that this isn't her sauce. He asks her to wait for Genki and the others, assuring her that they'll come back with her jar.
The Clays brag about leaving with the Disc stone, but Genki asks if that jar is the real one. They confirm it, saying that they have no need for it as long as they have the Disc. Mockingly waving their hands at them, Mew and the Jells bid them farewell, but Tiger tells them to check that Disc stone first, prompting them all to nearly shove their faces into it. Mew, still holding it in his hands, sniffs it and comments that it smells very good, making the other baddies start sweating.
Surprising everyone, he takes a big bite of it, terrifying his partners. He gleefully adds that it tastes pretty good as well before Genki reveals that Holly had baked that for them. The Clays get reasonably upset about this deceit while Mew continues enjoying his cookie, saying that it's no wonder it tastes so good.
Genki motivates Mocchi, Tiger and Hare to raise their guts and a pink aura surrounds all of them, scaring the baddies, and allowing them to break free from the trap, cutting the ropes in a million small pieces with their energy alone. Tiger takes the lead and threatens to use his lightning on them, but Mew laughs and brags about his own strength, saying that it won't even tickle him. Accepting this challenge, Tiger fires his attack at him and the Jells watch in horror from behind Mew as he receives all of it, all while still standing proud, with closed eyes and a grin. When the attack is over, he's left with burns all over his body and smoke coming out of him, so the Jells ask if he's okay, to which he only laughs awkwardly for a few seconds before running away and telling the others to do the same. The baddies all flee from there, screaming while the Searchers watch them in confusion. Genki stares at them and comments that they were something else before Hare reminds him that they must hurry up.
Back in the city, the judges are already trying the finished dishes presented by the competing chefs. All of them but one: Rossetta, who the commentator narrates as having stopped cooking, wondering whether she'll bake her pizza or not. The sundial is getting dangerously close to its finishing point and Suezo and Holly watch this with concern among the public, wondering what's taking Genki so long and whether they'll make it or not. At that exact moment, Tiger surprises everyone by jumping above the crowd to reach the center of the plaza. Sitting on his back is Mocchi, faithfully carrying Rosetta's special jar. She looks at Golem, telling him that it's time to add the missing ingredient. She mixes it with the sauce and tries it, feeling the same incredible flavour her pizza was famous for as time nearly runs out. Everyone watches expectantly as the pizza cooks in the oven, and, as soon as it's ready, Rosetta tells her helper to take it out, which he does, running against time itself to take it to the judges. He makes it less than a second before the commentator announces that the time's up, and Rosetta, whose body was incredibly tense from the stress, allows herself to sit down, sadly prompting her back to start hurting again.
Once the judging is finished, the spokesman announces the winner through his microphone: Rosetta and her amazing pizza. Everyone celebrates this hard-earned victory and she receives a shiny medal. Golem congratulates her, but she tells him that she owes this to him. Golem denies it, saying that it's her cooking that's the best, to which she simply thanks him, receiving a thumbs up for an answer.
The next day, the heroes stand right outside her restaurant as they share a few last words before leaving. Golem tells his new friend that he'll never forget the taste of her pizza, and she aloofly says that she hates goodbyes, so if he has nothing else to say, he better hurries and leaves already. Tiger looks at Genki and asks if they can leave now, and he agrees. One by one, they all say goodbye to Rosetta as she stands there with a cold attitude, facing away from them and with her eyes closed. Once they turn around and start walking away, she looks back at them and calls Golem. He turns around and she takes out a bag she had behind her back and throws it at him, telling the monster to catch it. He receives it, confused, and watches as she goes back into her restaurant, telling him to use that when he opens his own restaurant. He unties the know keeping the bag closed and reveals a new, shiny chef hat that makes him get slightly emotional, thanking her for it. Genki and the others, now surrounding him, ask what it is, as he's holding it above their eye level. He closes the bag again, covering his gift, and tells them that it's a secret and he'll only show them when he becomes a real chef. The boy complains, saying it's not fair and that he wants to see, but Golem refuses and starts running away, the rest of the group chasing after him to discover what he's hiding, helping them get out of Colart faster.

- A pan-up of Poison laughing at her acting was deleted.
- The pan of General Durahan's head as he tells MumMew he's already sent a monster after the Searchers was shortened.
- The first couple of seconds of Mew's introduction and his initial laugh at the Searchers (followed by Genki's reaction to spotting him) were omitted.
- The exact moment a Clay collides against Rosetta was censored.
- Genki extending a hand to help her up and Rosetta slapping it away were removed.
- After Golem picks Rosetta up, she scolds him and waves her fist at him before her back cracks and she bends over in pain; this was censored.
- A couple of seconds of the Searchers looking in awe at Rosetta's restaurant as they get there was removed.
- Genki, Mocchi, Holly and Golem tasting Rosetta's pizza was omitted.
- Golem's first pizza, which he takes out of the oven burnt, was deleted.
- When Rosetta gets frustrated and says she won't be making any pizzas, there's a couple of seconds of her repeating it before the client with a red shirt complains about it; this was removed.
- Mew's first time talking loudly and getting his mouth covered by the Clays was omitted, so we only see him doing it once, unlike the original version, where it happens twice.
- There's a short black screen transition between Golem falling asleep and the front of the restaurant being shown the next morning that was removed.
- A couple of seconds of a top view of the Searchers' reaction upon reading the baddies' letter were deleted.
- The order in which the Searchers' team starts the cooking competition was altered: in the original, Golem is shown preparing the dough, followed by Rosetta cutting slices of salami, but in these dubbed versions, Rosetta is shown first.
- Also, a short panning shown from behind the spokesman as he rhetorically asks who the possible winner might be and Golem swiping some sweat from his forehead (right after these short bits) were removed.

- Before Rosetta tries to add common mushrooms to her pizza, she takes a couple of seconds to examine the dough Golem had prepared and approves it; this was removed.
- The short sequence of the Clays waving their arms at the Searchers while mocking them was shortened even more, probably due to the length of the characters' speech.
- Upon tasting the fake Disc, Mew makes no commentary whatsoever on its flavour.
- A panning shot of the baddies looking terrified while the Searchers raise their guts to break free from their trap was removed.
- Mew's confident bragging before being hit by Tiger's lightning was replaced with him being scared of his attack and promptly running away before he even fires it, resulting in him not getting lightning burns and Genki not cringing at his sudden change of mind that led him to flee.
- A shot of Golem and Rosetta looking worried as their pizza cooks in the oven was deleted.
- Rosetta's back hurting again as soon as she sits down when the time's up was removed.
Errors[]
There's a scene where Rosetta's figure is duplicated (after standing still for a while, she moves, but she's still visible behind her in her previous position).
When the Searchers check on Suezo after he fell for Mew's trap, Tiger looks smaller than usual.
