"Steel-Slasher" Espada is the famous "Durahan Master," the leader the BCB Battle Card team. At first, he comes off as snobby because when you ask to duel him, he turns you down by saying you're not strong enough. He and his groupies spend most of their time at the Battle Card Center placing bets and working on their decks by dueling one another.
Even after you win the Champion's Cup, Espada deems you of little importance, and refuses to fight you until you have made a name for yourself by winning several years in a row.
