A feminine breed of Hare that has a cute red pixie-cut hairstyle and pink fur. It is one of the few Pixie sub-types that did not inherit wings. It does, however, have the typical pink and white emblem on its chest. Since Monster Rancher 4, it is depicted with a large pink tuft of fur around its neck like a scarf.
In the original run of the Japanese version of Monster Rancher 2, the game had a glitch where Fairy Hare would gain 1 Guts per frame in battle, which is far faster than other monsters in the game. There is a false rumor that it had a boosted speed stat instead.
Fairy Hare also makes an appearance in the anime series as an old friend of Hare's who runs an orphanage.
Etymology[]
It is originally named for Buster Bunny, a main character on the Warner Brothers' Tiny Toons Adventures cartoon series.
It is later named because of its pink, fairy-like color and its relation to the fairy-like Pixie species. Its Japanese name, Vājiahapi, means "virtue and happiness."
