Farn is one of the few Pixie breeds that seems to be inherently male. They are exclusive to Monster Rancher 3 (a game that does not allow combining), where monsters are classified according to where they live. Farns live in the forest region known as Morx.
Etymology[]
Its name is a mistranslation of the word fern, a type of low-lying plant that grows in the forests where it lives.

- To obtain a Farn in Monster Rancher 3, use either the PSX game Final Fantasy VIII (Disc 4), or the CD Janet Jackson - All For You.
