In Episode 34 of the anime series, the Searchers find themselves in a large city at the base of the Kamalaku Mountains, sitting in the shadow of three massive rock formations. Apparently the city had at one time been luscious and happy, until Naga sent Bajarl to kidnap the residents because of their collection of knowledge in their (apparently famous) library.
Holly discovers the journals of the town's mayor, the last survivor of Bajarl's onslaught, and uses the instructions inside it to detonate charges in the rock formations, burying the town (and Bajarl) forever.
This town is apparently known for their forward-thinking and creativity, and it is mentioned again as an area where battles are held in My Monster Rancher. They have a specialized coliseum built in the valley that doubles as an amphitheater.
