A very rare type of Monol that has a pattern on it that resembles stars in the night sky. This pattern constantly shifts, and occasionally even shows constellations, so some believe it is related to Metalner or Abyss.
Etymology[]
Its Japanese name is Hoshizora, which means "starry sky." This is why it's considered a counterpoint to Sky, which looks like the daytime sky.
While all breeds of Monol can be said to be based on the Monolith from Arthur C. Clarke's novel 2001: A Space Odyssey, the Galaxy in particular appears to be a shout-out to the famous line, “My God, it's full of stars" used in both the book and the movie sequel, "2010: The Year We Make Contact."
