The Gemini Volcano (also simply known as the Kawrea Volcano or Mt. Kawrea) rests on the island of Kawrea, and is one place famous for Phoenix regeneration. This is an errantry location in Monster Rancher 2 and Monster Rancher DS, and an Adventure location in My Monster Rancher.
The volcano received its name because its location on the island mirrors that of Mt. Albista on Bubalook Island, making the two look like "twin peaks." They are both sites linked to the worship of the Gemini gods.
MR2 level bosses in this area include Magma Heart, Punisher, and Blue Phoenix. In My Monster Rancher, it is one of the Adventures that you can take, unlocked at Rank 28 and recommended for monsters with high Power and Intelligence stats. The Volcano has 4 parts, each with their own potential treasures and bonuses:
- Lava Tunnel (30 min)
- Sulfur Vents (3 hr)
- Brimstone Flats (4 hr)
- Magma Vents (8 hr) Its boss is a Level 15 General Death named Shadow Hunter.
