The most common type of Joker besides the purebreed, Ghars was originally designed to look like one of the Modoki monsters and had a ??? sub-type, but was later revealed to be related to Durahan. It was redesigned in My Monster Rancher to look more armored and less blue and shiny, and it was renamed for Monster Rancher Advance in which it had a silvery chain mail cloak and brandished a sword and shield instead of the regular scythe. It was renamed only briefly before it was changed back again.
