This article is about the rare Raiden breed. For other uses of the name Griffon, click HERE. A legendary breed of Raiden that has the upper body of an eagle and the lower body of a large cat. Its colors and feline body parts make it seem to be related to Kato, but since it only appears in Monster Rancher 3 (a game that does not allow combining), it is classified according to where it lives. Griphyons live in the desert region known as Takrama.
Etymology[]
A griffin is a legendary creature with the body, tail, and hind legs of a Template:Ns; the head and wings of an Template:Ns; and an eagle's talons as its front feet. Its name has many spellings as it appears in legends all over the world, from Greece to France.
