Hare (known as Ham in the Japanese) is one of the seven Searchers, the main protagonists of the anime series. He is the last monster to join the team, after Genki and Tiger enter a monster battle in the city of Aurora to win some prize money. Hare is by far the smartest of the group, but also the most cunning. He is easily tempted to be selfish or do things purely out of his love of money. His shifty nature often puts him at odds with Tiger, who seems to never have forgiven him for cheating in their first match.
Hare is very skilled with an Template:Ns, and, once the Searchers trust him a bit more, he becomes the accountant for the group. He's also skilled in piloting an iron bird, during their escape from Durahan's pursuit on the alps.
He was voiced by Samuel Vincent who was also known for providing voices of some other known characters such as Edd from Ed, Edd & Eddy, Martin Mystery from the titular show, Kongo from Monkey Magic, Krypto from Krypto: The Super Dog and Dexter from Hamtaro.
Season 1[]
In Season 1, Hare becomes less selfish over time (although he is still tempted to leave the group or sell them out a few times) spent with his new friends, although his immature pranks never seem to cease. The Searchers really begin to rely on him when it comes to planning attacks, escapes or anything, it seems.
