Hare Hounds are Tiger/Hare hybrids that make several cameo appearances in the anime series.
Season 1[]
It is shown in flashback that one of Holly's best friends as a child was a Hare Hound. It presumably died in the attack on Holly's village.
Season 3[]
Several wild Hare Hounds are shown stealing from Tama's mango plantation.
