A friendly, bright, and famous former top Breeder who got her start as a peasant from the remnant of the Tochikan clan. Holly was directly involved in helping save Pangaea from Moo's invasion, and has worked her way up through the ranks of FIMBA to become world-famous. She cares deeply for monsters, and is of course loved by everyone.
In the Anime
Holly's young life is documented in the anime series. Not long after her 14th birthday, Holly's village is destroyed by Master Moo's army. She then sets out on a quest with Suezo to find the location of the ancient monster called the Phoenix, using a magic stone given to her by her grandfather to locate new Mystery Discs that contain monsters. Though she denies it at first, she learns that her father has become a vessel for the soul of the evil Moo. From then on she determines not only to restore peace to Pangaea, but also to save her father from the very monster he has become.
In the first episode she meets Genki, a young boy who came from the "real world" by accident when he was sucked into a video game by a time warp. They become best friends and allies, and although many of the fans interpret Genki's and Holly's relationship as a romantic one, though there is little evidence in the series to support this.
In the Games
Holly first makes an appearance in Monster Rancher 1 as your Breeder's assistant, presumably after the events of the anime series. She's just completed training to become an assistant in the FIMBA organization.
If you decide to play Monster Rancher Battle Card as Alf, you will meet Holly at the Riost Estate where she is the caretaker of the graveyard. She doesn't talk to you much until you get an Expert Pass.
In Monster Rancher 2, she appears as the opponent in the FIMBA vs. IMa Amnity Cup, and is an experienced breeder in her own right.
She reappears as your assistant in Monster Rancher Advance 2, having joined AGIMA to get a fresh start.
Also, she randomly appears in the town in Monster Rancher DS and asks you to show the BOMBA your full encyclopedia, making Errick think you two are going on a date. After you have beaten the Four Heavenly Kings, you are able to ask Holly to replace Cleo as your assistant.
She later returns as a D-3 Class tournament opponent in My Monster Rancher, where she has a 39% win rate and a Rank of 10.
