A quiet woman known in the Tochikan village for her knitting, Holly's mother goes unnamed in the anime series. It is assumed from the emphasis put on her empty rocking chair in Episode 8 that her death is part of what spurs Holly's father to leave the village eventually.
Her mother looks a great deal like Holly, but it is unknown whether or not she had power to wield the magic stone.
