Joy is an intelligent, trained toucan that is a constant companion to your Breeder's Assistant Colt in Monster Rancher 2.
In the Games[]
Unlike real toucans, Joy speaks through a series of squawks. Though it never directly states Joy's gender, it is widely accepted that she is a female. She assists with drills for monsters, delivers them food each month, and gives them their birthday cakes. Joy also alerts the trainer and Colt when a monster has found an item.
In the Anime[]
Joy appears alongside Colt in Episode 40.
