A type of Durahan that wears a golden helmet and plume, and white and gold armor with a silver and red cape. Because of its name and the fact that the designs of the two monsters are nearly the same, many believe this monster originated as the Holy Knight, a special breed in Monster Rancher Advance. However, they have different names in Japanese.
Etymology[]
Its original name comes from the song title Silent Night, Holy Night, and references the fact that it has holy blood.
Its second name, Kresnik, is a mythical Slavic deity, known to be offspring of the sun god Svarog. He is often associated with fire and the summer solstice. Also, a Krsnik is a vampire-hunting shaman, said to be characterized by its white spirit while its enemies have a black one.
