A mechanical breed of monster fashioned to look like a cat. It was used as a toy in ancient times, and has an oval-shaped head and two ROM-Discs as eyes. Its tail is a series of small pieces held together by magnetism.

The prefix mec- is short for "mechanical."
Its Japanese name is Nyangā.
