Mel is your young assistant for My Monster Rancher, and is assigned to you by BOMBA, much like Cleo is in Monster Farm DS. She gives you tips and unfortunately (or maybe fortunately, for some of you!) has quite a bit less dialogue and plot line than previous assistants, probably because of the gaming platform.
She seems very spunky and energetic, but also takes the job seriously. She wears her long red hair in two ponytails and dresses like a schoolgirl.
