Monster Farm Travel is a spinoff of the Monster Rancher video game series that allows breeders to experience the world and changes in culture. It was released as a Japanese smartphone game and not localized anywhere else.

The game mostly consisted on going on Adventures and didn't involve many elements of the regular series.
Acquiring Monsters[]
Generating monsters in the game involved finding them in a play area or by sending e-mails or texts to your friends.
Expeditions[]
In order for your monster to grow, you could send them on "tours" in other countries, where they would develop traits and send you snapshots of their trips and items that they discovered along the way that you could use to decorate their rooms at home.
Monster Battles[]
There was mention of a connectivity method for battling, but not much is known about this.
