The five Monster Orbs are among the some of the most difficult items to obtain, and are revealed to be more than just the Anima of the monsters they came from - together they create a Phoenix. This parallels what happens in Episode 48 of the anime series when The Searchers give their energy to become orbs of light that reignite Suzaku.
Each of the Monster Orbs must be obtained in a different way, and then carefully kept in your items storage until you have completed all of the requirements to unlock a Phoenix. BE VERY CAREFUL if you have a monster with the Willful trait. It is possible to accidentally feed it an Orb and it is unknown if there is any way to get the item back again.
The Flare Orb is technically not a monster orb, but is the key to combining all of them.

1. Raise a PUREBREED Tiger to Class A. 2. Explore the Promiass Ruins and Holly will say that your Tiger seems odd. 3. Investigate the temple in the SE corner of the map. Holly will catch your Tiger chewing on something and make him spit it out. This is the Orb you are looking for. |

| Mocchi Orb |

1. Raise a PUREBREED Mocchi to Class A. 2. Explore the Bird Shrine in the Malkt Ruins. It will no longer send you away. 3. When you investigate, a stray Mocchi will attack. Defeat it and you will get the Orb. |

| Golem Orb | 
|
1. Raise any Golem breed to Class A. 2. Soon after, a stray Golem will attack your ranch. Defeat him once. 3. The stray Golem will attack again within a month, and when you win a second time, you will get the Orb. |

| Hare Orb | 
|
1. Raise any Hare breed to Class S. 2. Bint will come to your ranch and talk about a stray Hare that attacked the vendors in the Aspia Town Square. 3. You will travel to the Square where you will have to beat the stray Hare. 4. Norm will give you the Orb in appreciation. |
