A collaboration between Monster Rancher and another series, this is a remake of the game Solomon's Key with characters replaced with ones from Monster Rancher 2 and Monster Rancher 3. Although not considered a main canon game, this game fills in many gaps in the storylines of other games.
Story[]
Cox, the explorer mentioned in many of the other games, is the protagonist. A tower with many ancient secrets locked inside has been taken over by the evil mage Nada, and if he is ever to unlock the secrets inside and free the surrounding area from from her tyranny, Cox must get to the top of the tower and defeat her.
Gameplay[]
You control Cox, who must navigate through a series of levels in a tower. In certain levels you can unlock a bonus round, where you can capture a monster to aid you in the game.

Most of the monsters in the game are simply unobtainable level bosses and obstacles, but you can unlock and use the following monsters for help on your quest:
