An immensely powerful breed of Dragon that was genetically engineered by the Pendant civilization as a biological weapon, but its propensity to amplify the darkness in those around it made it nearly unstoppable. Moo is the main antagonist in the Monster Farm Lagoon game, and uses its dark powers to take over several other monsters (a Kikimo and a Tiger) and make them Moo-hybrid level bosses as well. It has the same color scheme as Ripper, leading some to the belief that it may be related.
Because of its ability to project and meld its spirit with other beings, Moo has the ability to take on different forms. When he is without a solid body, Moo is greatly weakened and exists in an all-black, mostly spirit state. This is called his Larva Form, which can briefly be seen in the anime series and fought as its own level boss in Lagoon.
Later, the inhabitants of the Warp Dimension steal Moo's Horn (a powerful instrument that had been invented to control Moo in the beginning) after learning where Moo's Dark Disc was hidden during the Tochikan War. They create a synthetic body for him that includes metallic silver skin and large solar panels that allow it to absorb power and radiate extreme heat. It has four eyes instead of two, and large golden wings. As they soon find out, however, attempting to control Moo even in a new body does not work, and his Warp Form becomes the main level boss of Monster Rancher EVO. Eventually a Battle Card is created in his image and can be collected in Monster Rancher Battle Card 2, but only through cheat codes.
Moo is the main antagonist of the anime series, and spends most of it in a merged human/monster form. He spends a long time attempting to reclaim his huge Dragon body.
Etymology

Obtaining
- To obtain a Moo in Monster Rancher 2, use the C-D Beck: Mellow Gold.
- NOTE: This monster is notoriously difficult to obtain as the copy of the CD used to generate this monster was of a particularly rare print. Worse, this specific CD was used for a rare monster in Monster Rancher 1, Monster Rancher 2, and Monster Rancher 3. It is possible to have a copy of the CD that will not produce a Moo or any of the other rare monsters.
