Octopee is a monster breed that originally appeared as an obstacle in Monster Rancher Explorer but was first unlockable in Monster Rancher 3. It resembles an octopus with two body cavities instead of one. It has four tentacles on the lower cavity, and two longer ones that stem from its "head," that they generally use to grasp things. They also have an antenna that they use for underwater sonar and to navigate in the dark.
Most Octopees prefer the water but can also function well on land if they must. Even though they appear harmless, they can be formidable opponents if trained properly. Their large eyes grant them great precision so their accuracy is often their best stat.
Etymology[]
So-named because its design is loosely based on an aquatic cephalopod, the Template:Ns.
Its Japanese name is Takopi.
