Master Pabs is by far one of the most well-known breeders and trainers of the modern era. He is one of the four legendary breeders and is now a faithful employee on the board at IMa and a trusted mentor to many young breeders from Bubalook Island (including Colt, who has become his prize pupil). Pabs helps mentor you throughout Monster Rancher 2, and also makes important appearances in several other games.
It turns out that he is not only skilled at breeding monsters and training them for battle, but he is also a respected Battle Card champion as well. You find out during Monster Rancher Battle Card 2 that he was good friends with your character's father when they were teenagers, and that they both competed in the Champion's Cup.
