A clown-like monster who uses its body freely to do many performances. Their attacks involve using their ribbons in a flurry of dances and spins, and they can fire sound waves and shock waves that stun and confuse. Piroros first appeared in Monster Rancher EVO as the main character's starting monster (in keeping with the circus theme), and have continued on in the next several games.

They bear a slight resemblance to some of The Heartless characters from the Template:Ns video game series, but many of its sub-breeds are references to characters from the Template:Ns series. Be that as it may, Piroro has made a great impression with fans. Its sub-types often come adorned in ribbons and tassels, and some have the rattle-like headdress. It is capable of closing its mouth, causing eyes - possibly its 'true' eyes - to appear on the sides of its head.

Etymology[]

The name Piroro is based on Pierotte, a clown archetype from Template:Ns. This is why many Piroro sub-types have names of characters from Commedia as well. The name is also derived from the name Giroro, a character in the manga Keroro Gunso. They have similar body types, and many of the Piroro sub-breeds are named after their characters.
