The Promiass Ruins (also spelled Promias) are discovered during the gameplay of Monster Rancher Advance 2 and are located in a swampy area on the tiny island of Promiass off the northern edge of Age. They are very Greek in appearance, built with many ancient statues and columns. Since then, new artifacts have been discovered regularly there, making them one of the safest and most popular to explore.
Promiass is not able to be explored in Monster Rancher Advance 2 until after you win the Emperor's Cup and "beat the game" essentially. However, after you do that you can unlock ArchReaper, Valkyrie, Campanella and many other special monsters.
Promiass contains statues of the three ancient people now considered deities: Gadamon, Bragma, and Fleria. It also has several temples and a statue of another goddess, believed to be the goddess of Balance. A large guardian monster called Garp lives in the lower levels and is actually a sentient part of the temple itself. There are also murals there depicting another tragedy that occurred before the war with Moo, involving the Phoenix and Xevion.
Promiass is also likely the location of the ancient shrine where the Searchers take the dark mystery disc containing Moo and Holly's Father at the end of the anime series. It has a notable temple that was said is hard to find. Most tells the Searchers that he saw it once when flying in his iron bird.
You can visit Promiass in many of the games, but in Monster Rancher 4, there is a room covered in spikes that requires a stone or flying monster to help you pass. In My Monster Rancher, it is one of the special Adventures that you can take after winning a ticket in a Tournament, Gacha, or paying for it with actual money. The Ruins have 4 parts, each with their own potential treasures and bonuses:
- Ancient Training Grounds (1 hr)
- Shelter of Life (2 hr)
- Ritual Chamber (3 hr)
- Altar (4 hr). Its boss is a Level 10 Monol named Black Wisdom.

The Ruins of Promiass: Perhaps some secret lies here? The descendants of the Tochika live here, but it is not clear whether that is a mere coincidence, or holds some kind of significance.
