Psirollers (also called Rhinorollers) are monsters resembling rhinos riding on large wheels that they use to attack. Due to this wheel, they can move at high speeds and have very quick and powerful techniques like "Drift," "0 to 60," and "Mega Roller." Even though they are on this roller most of the time, there are a few times when they do get off of them, although they hobble quite a bit because their back legs are much smaller than the front ones.
It first appeared in Monster Rancher Explorer as an obstacle monster, but eventually became unlockable in Monster Rancher 3. A non-playable Psiroller is used for one of the circus acts in Monster Rancher EVO, and a new rhinoceros-type monster can be seen in the marketing for Monster Farm Online, although none was ever released in the game itself.
Etymology[]
Psiroller is a mistranslation of sairoller (Sairōra), sai being the Japanese word for rhinoceros.
