A scaled breed of Hare that has thick, purple skin that allows it to withstand extreme heat. Not the brightest Hare out there, but physically very strong. In later games, its defense is weakened a bit.
One of the color variations of Hare in Monster Farm Online is a Purple Hare that looks just like this monster.

Originally named for the amethyst, a purple gemstone.
This monster is later simply named for its purple color.
Its Japanese name is Rabendārokku, or Lavender Rock.
