This article is about the Naga breed. For other uses of the word Ripper, click HERE. A bright breed of Naga that has beautiful pink tattoos on its body and sharp horny extensions on its shoulders, but a lack of trust and very sharp claws that make people fear raising it.
Later, there is a breed of skunk-like monster introduced in the games that is also named Ripper, and this breed of Naga stops appearing in the games at that point.
Etymology[]
Its name comes from the way it rips things with its sharp claws. Its original name, Liper, is simply a mistranslation of the word "ripper."
Its Japanese name is Dianaripā, or Diana Reaper. (Note that the later Ripper species uses slightly different kana.)
