This stone Dragon monster's design changes multiple times. It was originally very thin with large spikes on its head, but later became thicker and smoother. During this time, its wings were gracefully sculpted with stone "feathers," like the wings of a gargoyle. Later, it became more amorphous and boulder-like, but the designers settled on two large twisted horns on its head.
Etymology[]
Jihad is an Islamic term, meaning "holy war." More casually, it can also mean "struggle for a noble cause" or "trying one's hardest." This monster's other names reference the fact that it is made of stone and rocks.
