The Hills of Rusetara are one of the main areas of gameplay in Monster Farm Online. This uneven area ranges from rocky and mountainous to green and grassy, and serves as lower third of the Eastern Continent. This province had much of its land sink below the ocean after the giant typhoon, but the higher areas survived, including the famous capital city of Sekitoba, and the lost city of Shidira Rama. It is now split up into a group of islands, with Rusetara being the hub.
The people native to Rusetara usually have light skin and dark hair, and oddly enough some of them are known to grow small horns on their foreheads (ladies have one, men have two). Those who live closer to the north of the area (especially near Mt. Sekitoba and the Refirn Islands) have darker, more tanned skin because of the crossover with the Sorbanans. These people take their heritage very seriously and still feel a deep connection with the ancient ways. The land was scattered with large towers (like the famous Tower of the Miasma) for a long time, said to hold the secrets of the gods and ancient technology.
There is a lot of shepherding done in these hills and valleys, which compliments the agricultural nature of the rest of the province. The hills are a possible ranch location allowed in My Monster Rancher, although most prefer a more dependable place to live.
In Monster Farm Lagoon, it is the twenty-fifth gameplay area, which you visit after the Kunareya Ruins. The Hills have 4 Levels.
