A large scorpion monster with a strange design on its head that looks like a skull, and is known for its powerful poison. It appears in Monster Rancher 2 and Monster Rancher Advance, and is later redesigned as a ??? sub-type Arrow Head for Monster Rancher Advance 2. Its name was translated differently for that game.
In Monster Rancher Explorer, a large Selketo (owned by Kalum) is the level boss for level 10 of the White Tower. It sits on a platform above you and shoots groups of three stingers down on you. In order to defeat it you have to climb up and knock the floor out from under it.
Etymology[]
Its name comes from Serket (or Selket), the Egyptian goddess known to heal poisons and stings. She was the deification of the scorpion.

Obtaining[]
- To obtain a Selketo in Monster Rancher 2, use the PC games Simm City 2000, Zoo Tycoon: Complete Collection (Disc 2), or the PSX game Crash Bandicoot 2.
- To obtain a Selketo in Monster Rancher Advance, use the password Joel.
- To obtain a Serket in Monster Rancher Advance 2, you must combine Arrowheads in order to create a Thoroughbred. Once that is done, use the password SCP_WMN.
