A furry breed of Gitan that is exceptionally hard to raise because it does not take instruction well. Even though its name is changed from Merry-Merry, it retains its scruffy red fur and sharp teeth. Not to be confused with Shishi, a type of Baku.
Etymology[]
The Shishi is a mythological Chinese guardian lion. There are statues all over China with Shishis in pairs--male and female. They are usually placed in front of important buildings (such as a tomb or government office) to bring good luck and protection.
Its Japanese name in Monster Rancher Advance 2 is Gittanbattan (ギッタンバッタン).
