A specialty type Henger designed and supposedly posthumously inhabited by the pirate Edgar. It is great with direction and does not shy away from the water like some other types of Hengers. Its dark blue body and golden accents are the only thing that link it to Antlan, and when it appears in Monster Rancher 3 (a game that does not allow combining) monsters are classified according to where they live. Skullwaves live in the ocean region known as Goat.
Etymology[]
Named for the skull-and-crossbones symbol on its chest, and the fact that it is related to a pirate, so it often rode waves in a ship.
