A small robotic monster shaped like a Hopper and used as a drone by the Metalners. It doesn't actually hop but can extend its legs mechanically. It can shoot lasers from its eyes and its ears receive satellite transmissions.
In the anime, a Springer is part of General Durahan's crew aboard his iron bird, usually sitting behind the controls to fly his ship, alongside Tricker, Mocky and Sneak Hopper.
Etymology[]
A play on words. Springing is another word for jumping or hopping, and a spring is a metal corkscrew used to store mechanical energy.
Its Japanese name is Supuringā.
