One of the largest and deadliest deserts in all of Pangaea, the Timpano covers much of the interior of the Western Continent. While the center of it is flat and more mild (more like a prairie), the edges of the desert are a maze of bluffs, cliffs and canyons. Cacti grow in abundance, and sandstorms are prevalent. Nevertheless, the fastest way from the Cape of Kurehaza to the thriving metropolis of Campana is straight through the desert, so a well-worn trade route has been established. One of the most famous cities along this route is Tongue Bool.
In Monster Rancher EVO, the Timpano Desert is the fourth adventure area you encounter. In several ares you have to dodge dangerous twisters.
