Anyone else notice this? After Moo's grand defeat and Genki's return to the world of Monster Rancher, none of the baddies (or goodies, for that matter) die anymore.
They receive mortal attacks but they don't die (e.g. Mew gets electrocuted by Tiger and only runs away because he realizes he doesn't stand a chance against him; compare this to captain Dino getting the same treatment and immediately becoming a lost disc on season 1, or Shell Saurians getting thrown at walls by an angry Baku and dying instantly), all the Elite Warriors™ sent by General Durahan flee when defeated or become good (Pink Jam and his Jells, Shogun are some prime examples). Even the General himself should have stayed dead but he somehow survives as a head attached to life support machines. But let's pretend that that's plausible because of his legendary might or something... because I personally like him
The only death we're shown on S3 is part of a flashback, a Mocchini that was accidentally killed by Most during a Legend Cup fight, and that's it.
All this makes me wonder: is death not a thing anymore, after Moo's body ceases to exist? Is Suzaku's kind influence so ridiculously OP that it put a stopper in death? Are the Searchers so capable to hold themselves back so as not to actually kill the baddies? Did the show producers forget or decide to ignore how deaths are supposed to be in this universe for the sake of making it more family-friendly (lolwhut)?
