Waits and Simone are an elderly couple who live in Aurora. Simone is often lost in her own thoughts and Waits spends most of his time watching televised monster battles. You can search their house for items, though neither of them is very helpful to talk to.
They own a Mocchi that runs away after you reach Silver Rank and you have to go find it for them, luring it back with milk that Simone will give you. After you do so, Waits will give you his Sandals.
